A 11-year-old boy in Louisiana could face multiple charges after he allegedly stealing a school bus and taking police on a high speed chase.

Police in Baton Rouge are alleging that the boy saw the bus at a school, got inside, figured out how to turn it on, and started driving.

There's video all over social media of the boys joy-ride and police chase. The chase lasted about 30 minutes before he crashed the bus it into a gas line and tree in someones front yard.

"Thank goodness he was okay,” Libby Smith, owner of the property he crashed into.“He was safe, but it was not your typical Sunday afternoon occurrence for sure, so we're blessed in that it didn't do any more damage than it did." she told CNN.

The boy wasn't injured, but has been charged with aggravated flight, theft of a motor vehicle, aggravated assault, and three counts of aggravated damage to property, according to WAFB.
