I’m a Manly Man?

What should men do?

I am comfortable with my masculinity. So comfortable that I have to write a blog questioning it.

As a man, I know how to do a lot of manly men things. I can open jars, change a tire, after a YouTube refresher I could probably change the oil. I can throw a baseball, unless I am under the pressure of thousands throwing a first pitch at a minor league game…yea that was bad. I can kind of throw a football…I mean I can throw it but it doesn’t always spiral.

Speaking of football, let’s get to the reason that I am writing this blog. The Super Bo*l…not sure if I am legally allowed to type that word without the National Football League suing me and Entercom Communications.

As a man, when it gets closer to the World Series or the game I mentioned above, a lot of acquaintances around the office or within your acquaintance circle will ask you “Are you a fan?” “Who’s your team?”

My answer always has to be complicated, because I’m a fan of football…but I don’t watch it unless it’s on. I played football for a few years in junior high and high school (I got hit hard and knocked over a lot)…I just don’t really follow it. I play fantasy football, but I really have no idea what is going on and have a friend do everything for me.

So, in my own fantasy, I am a football fan.

I love watching it though. My team would definitely be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They're not my team because I grew up in Florida…They're my team because my parents got me their uniform as a Halloween costume back when I was 8. Not because I watched their games, but because I liked the colors when they were orange.

I don’t think that could be the reason because I hate orange.

No offense.
