I didn't see this coming... Taco Bell is now debuting its own wine, Jalapeño Noir, which will be a good pair with the Toasted Cheesy Chalupa. According to Taco Bell this will only be available for a limited time in Canada in celebration of the new menu item.

Dammit Canada!

A statement from Taco Bell said:

“The rich taste and crunchy texture of the beloved Toasted Cheesy Chalupa complements notes of wild strawberry, cherry and beetroot in this silky limited-edition red wine.”

The wine, which is made locally at a vineyard in Ontario, is a collector's item with three different and unique bottles which cost about $19. You be able to purchase it via their website or at a limited number of locations in Ontario.

These Toasted Cheesy Chalupa's will be released in the US in November, but no word on if we can the cool wine pairing like Canada.

This isn't a first for Taco Bell. They have many restaurants across the US which serve alcohol at their "Cantina" locations.
