Mumford And Sons Put On Costumes And Play Cover Songs To Open For Themselves

Gang Of Youths called in sick.

September 18, 2019

Mumford and Sons were at their tour stop in Phoenix the other night and their opening band, Gang Of Youths, had to cancel due to illness. Some bands might bring on a local support act, or even just push their set a little earlier.

Mumford and Sons had a different plan... they put on costumes, including a full body dinosaur suit, and what appears to be The Pope, and opened for themselves. They played a full set of covers as the band 'The Sun Never Sets On The Cool Kids'.

The setlist included covers of "You Shook Me All Night Long", "Wagon Wheel", "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", and "You Really Got Me".
