Fugitive Writes “I’m Not Here” On Mattress Expecting Cops To Believe It

He totally stole that idea from a cartoon.

This is probably going to be the dumbest story you read today.

Jesse Pack from Bunnell, Florida (way too close to us), had a warrant out for kidnapping and assault charges.

This weekend, the cops went to his house and a woman answered the door. She said Jesse was gone and had left them a message.

Written on a mattress in orange marker, Jesse wrote, “I know my warrant is active. I’m not here, I am finishing a job and turning myself in."

Yeah, right.

The cops asked if they could search the house and when they did, they found Jesse curled up in a dresser.
